This policy explains what the SAGEO browser extension and its backing service do with your data. SAGEO is a product of Pro Web Squad, and this policy is published on prowebsquad.com. It covers the Chrome extension and the API it talks to.
The short version.
SAGEO reads a page only when you ask it to audit that page. It sends that page’s structure to our API to calculate a score. We do not track your browsing, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.
1. Who we are
SAGEO is built and operated by Pro Web Squad (www.prowebsquad.com). For any privacy question or request, contact support@prowebsquad.com.
2. What the extension reads
When you open SAGEO and run an audit on a page, the extension reads that page’s publicly visible structure:
- Page URL, title, and meta tags
- Headings (H1–H6) and visible body text, used for word counts and readability
- Image attributes: source, alt text, dimensions, captions, file size
- Links: destination, anchor text, rel attributes, and page location
- Structured data (JSON-LD schema), Open Graph and Twitter card tags
- Performance timings already recorded by your browser for that page
SAGEO reads a page only when you actively request an audit, or when you enable “Follow tab” and switch to a page you want audited. It does not read pages in the background, and it does not read pages you have not chosen to audit.
What it never reads
- Passwords, form inputs, or payment fields
- Cookies or session tokens belonging to sites you visit
- Your browsing history or the list of tabs you have open beyond the titles and URLs shown in the audit picker
3. What we send to our servers
To calculate your score, the extension sends the page data listed above to the SAGEO API. The score is computed there and returned to the extension.

We store the URL of pages you audit. We do not store the page’s full text or images.
5. Requests the extension makes directly
Some checks run from your browser rather than our servers. These requests come from your device and carry your IP address to the site being contacted:
- Link checking. To report broken links and redirects, the extension requests the HTTP status of links found on the audited page. Cookies are not sent.
- Site files. It requests robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt from the audited site’s own domain.
- Keyword ideas. If you use Keyword Research, the keyword you type is sent to Google’s public autocomplete endpoint.
- Responsive preview. The page you are auditing is loaded in a preview frame inside the panel. To make this work, frame-blocking response headers are removed for that preview only, while the Responsive tab is open.

7. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not run ad or analytics trackers inside the extension.
- We do not share your data with third parties except the processors listed above, each of which receives only what it needs to perform its function.
- We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
8. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is open. Audit records are kept so you can see your history. Citation results are cached for a short period to avoid repeat charges. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account record and its associated audit and citation history.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data by emailing support@prowebsquad.com. You can remove the extension at any time from your browser, which clears the token stored on your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We honour those requests regardless of location.
10. Children
SAGEO is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be announced in the extension.
